His tribe had converted to the beliefs of a cult and he was taught that he was lesser. He was to defer to his brothers and father (and eventually his husband) in all things. He was raised being taught the healing arts (a woman only position) and how to please his future husband. Everything was for the sake of serving his 'god' and future husband; even his body.No man was allowed to touch Cyprus and he remained a virgin, never having even been kissed. Despite his harsh upbringing, his one saving grace was his childhood friend. He had hopes that someday he might marry him, until he left to fight in a war--from which he never returned. Soon after, Cyprus was betrothed to another. Still, having been exposed to the outside world through his childhood friend--and an idea that he was worth more--he could not go through with it, so Cyprus ran away.He ended up in Ul'dah and practiced his healing arts on others for free, simply wanting to help. He spent many years being naive, though he's learned enough to hold his own now. He can be gentle and shy in nature, but is bold when it comes to the safety and well being of his patients--bringing out a completely different side of the normally demure and gentle bun.He has mixed feelings about his upbringing and while identifying as male--has never completely been able to give up the femininity he grew up being raised to uphold. Despite this, he had attracted what he thought was genuine love. He spent many years building a life and family with the man--only for him to pass. Despite the loss of his husband, Cyprus didn't let it get him down.He has a child named Florin who is nonbinary and following in his footsteps to become a healer. Currently Cyprus is looking to have a clinic all his own, having become a well enough healer in his own right.APPEARANCE- Freckles all over his face
